REFLECTIONS

THIS IS A SECULAR BOOK OF POEMS THAT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH, CRY OR PONDER THE FATE OF THE LIVING, DYING,  AND SATIRICAL SITUATIONS.

TOGETHER

It was in the spring of life
You promised me your hand
To live and love me always
As we traveled through the land.

Do you remember dear
The day that we first met
Our wedding was in the autumn heat
Forever, you would not forget

You’ve kept the promise that you made
With honor, love, and respect
Never giving doubt a thought
We live with no regrets.

Spring has turned to winter
Our love grows stronger still
Hand in hand, until the end
We know this is God’s will.

Death is not the end
The veil is parting wide
We’ll travel through eternity
Still traveling side by side.
